An algorithm was developed to read real-time data and calculate the rate according to the desired period. The results are showcased in 5 temporal series capturing the accumulated recidivism over 12, 24, 36, 48, and 60 months, with rates appearing to align with some previously published similar studies. Additionally, a Mann-Whitney test was conducted to explore differences in the rates post-quarantine. The results show an increase in the average recidivism rate within 12 months post the quarantine period. These findings are discussed concerning their theoretical and practical implications, particularly emphasizing their potential contribution to managing socio-educational policy in the Federal District.

Objetivo: o presente trabalho apresenta um indicador capaz de medir, de forma contínua e periódica, a reincidência infracional no sistema socioeducativo do Distrito Federal, Brasil. Método: os dados utilizados foram coletados diretamente nos sistemas processuais da Vara de Execução de Medidas Socioeducativas do Distrito Federal – Vemse/DF. Para aumentar a qualidade das informações, foram incluídos apenas os processos registrados após 2018, eliminando registros duplicados e casos de internação provisória. Além disso, somente processos com efetivo cumprimento de medidas socioeducativas foram considerados, totalizando 8.639 processos. Foi desenvolvido um algoritmo que, a partir das datas de distribuição dos processos e do nome dos adolescentes, calcula, em tempo real, as taxas de reincidência infracional em diferentes intervalos de tempo (12, 24, 36, 48 e 60 meses). São apontados vieses que podem ter contribuído para a subestimação das taxas apresentadas. Resultado: propõe-se a utilização das TRIs para auxiliar no monitoramento dos resultados da execução das medidas socioeducativas, ajudando a identificar padrões de reincidência e a avaliar a eficácia das intervenções ao longo do tempo.
